This page says what happens to information when you use this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will fix the wording rather than explain it away.

What this site collects on its own

Nothing that identifies you. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie set by us, and no account to create. You can check that: open your browser's network tab and reload. Every file comes from this domain.

The site checker

If you paste a website address into the checker, that address is sent to our server so it can open the page and read it. We use it for the single check and we do not store it. The report is generated and returned to your browser. Nothing is kept afterwards, and nothing is passed to anyone else.

Do not paste an address that is behind a login or that contains a token in the URL. The checker opens the page as an anonymous visitor would.

The assistant on this page

If you type a question to the assistant, the text is used to produce an answer and is not stored against you. It is not used to train anything. If the question is answered by the small local version, it never leaves your browser at all.

If you write to us

We keep the email so we can answer it and so we have a record of what was agreed. If we do not end up working together, we delete the thread within twelve months. You can ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep an invoice.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to us holding it. Write to contact@obsidasolutions.com and you get a written answer within a month, usually the same week. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, or to the one in your own country.

When you become a client

Then this page stops being the relevant document. Before any system of ours touches your customers' data we sign a data processing agreement that lists exactly what is read, what is stored, for how long, and where. That agreement, not this page, governs it.
